Kicks On Court: Six Rings Season - December 1st, 2008

Over the Thanksgiving weekend, all of the Jordan Brand members had at least two games; and most of them had at least six rings (not literally). To kick off December, our Kicks On Court (KOC) spotted most of the JB members hooping in Jordan 6 Rings PEs. The Tinseltown twosome snuck into Christina Aguilera’s Target Terrace AMAs party at and stood by each other’s side throughout the evening. According to an inside source, Ness did some hinting while hitting the dancefloor during Beyonce’s “Single Ladies.”

Spencer Breaks His Silence for First Time

Spencer Pratt is laughing at reports that his recent wedding to Heidi Montag was fake.

"We had a beautiful ceremony here at One & Only Palmilla officiated by a minister and photographed by the hotel photographer," he says in a statement to Usmagazine.com and The Associated Press. "We've never been happier."

Pratt and Montag are still in Mexico.

Mexico will marry American citizens and perform elopements. Other couples -- including Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, and Jewel and Ty Murray, who recently wed abroad -- can legalize their unions before, or in the case of elopements, after a foreign ceremony in the United States.

Adds Pratt, "Like other elopements that happen outside the country, we'll take care of the legal details when we get home."

Meanwhile, Hills executive producer Liz Gateley tells MTV News that the couple's married life and honeymoon will play a prominent part on The Hills' upcoming fifth season.

Cameras are still down in Mexico, where the two eloped last week, filming their honeymoon, she says.

"MTV is currently filming Heidi and Spencer in Mexico, as we were expecting to capture them on vacation," Gateley tells MTV News. "Fans will be able to see the exclusive footage from the ceremony in an upcoming episode, and we will continue to follow the newlyweds' relationship as it plays out in real life."

Spencer Pratt Laughs At Fake Marriage Claims

The Hills stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag shocked fans by eloping in Mexico last week at the One & Only Palmilla resort. Now they are defending their marriage and the fact that many think it’s a scam.

The newly married couple is still in Mexico but Spencer took a little time to provide a statement to USmagazine.com.

“We had a beautiful ceremony at One & Only Palmilla officiated by a minister and photographed by the hotel photographer. We’ve never been happier. Like other elopements that happen outside the country, we’ll take care of the legal details when we get home.”

Executive producer Liz Gateley says that the marriage will play a big part in the new season of The Hills fifth season. Cameras are still in Mexico filming the couple’s honeymoon.

Other stars who have been married in Mexico include, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, Jewel and Ty Murray. Another famous couple, Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds got married on Bora Bora in French Polynesia on January 1, 2008. They opted not to legalize the marriage when they returned to the U.S. and ended their relationship.

Mariah Carey refuses to drink champagne because it is ”fattening.”The 38-year-old singer - who married Nick Cannon in a secret ceremony in April - was offered a glass of the sparkling alcoholic beverage as she appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ US TV talk show but refused the drink because of its calorie content.

When Ellen, who was attempting to prove Mariah is expecting her first child, said: “Let’s just toast with Champagne”, Mariah replied: “It’s just fattening. This is peer pressure!”

After clinking glasses with Ellen, Mariah pretended to sip the champagne without letting any of it pass her lips, causing Ellen to exclaim: “You’re not drinking - you’re pregnant!”

But Mariah laughed: “No, no, no. We will let you know when we’re going to have a family. It’s just too early for me. I only drink after 3pm.”

Mariah sparked rumors she is pregnant after she recently was spotted with a more rounded tummy than usual.

Dear Nice Kicks Readers,

What are you thankful for? Is it having a job? shelter? clothing? food? or just time with your family? While I am very grateful for the essentials that I am fortunate to have, I am thankful for the people that I have in my life. Family first, I was extremely happy to spend the day with my wife with a baby on the way, daughter, and younger brother with his girlfriend.

To kick off the list, I am very thankful for my team I work with daily at the Nice Kicks lab. Greg, George, Nick, and Peter have helped me greatly to push harder as well as get more news out each day.

Life would not be the same without our partners at Complex - Joe, Bradley, Maeve, Aleksey, Ashish, Moksha, and Rich. I have said it before, and I will say it again - Thank you for pushing me to step out of the box of “blogs” and teach us to provide better content for our readers.

Many brands have stepped up and have worked with us above and beyond…even when our requests may seem like harassment. My good people at Nike: Demetria and KeJuan from the NY office have been great to us. D’Wayne Edwards of Jordan Brand has helped us greatly by getting us in touch with Terri from JB. Much thanks also goes out to Sarah and Kristen. Kristina from New Balance always helps us out with samples when we need them - much thanks. Mariah Carey I Only Drink After 3pm

Mariah Carey was on Ellen yesterday and refused to actually drink any champagne Ellen offered her. Ellen then accused Mariah of being pregnant. Please. That would involve Mariah having sex and honestly, probably Nick would have to cleanse himself for 24 hours prior to any sexual act with Mariah and not physically touch her during the act. Of course we could believe Mariah when she said that she doesn’t drink before 3pm. It was a Wednesday. Who says that? People are at work for 3 or 4 more hours and she is already drinking. I guarantee you though that if she says 3pm, she drinks earlier. She just knows it’s weird to the world if she says noon.

Mariah having a baby. I don’t think Mariah is unselfish enough to have a baby.
