Cameron Diaz deliberately avoided Jessica Biel at the CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute.

The “What Happens in Vegas” star rushed through the back entrance of Los Angeles’ Kodak Theatre on Friday (Nov 28, 2008) to prevent running into Jessica, who is currently dating Cameron’s ex-boyfriend, singer Justin Timberlake.

A source said: “It was a careful tango to make sure they weren’t backstage at the same time.”

Jessica – who was accompanied by her father Jonathan - presented one of the prizes at the ceremony, which recognizes people who have shown incredible bravery and dedication in the face of adversity.

Cameron also handed over an award to Marie Da Silva, who was praised for funding a school in her native Malawi.

Other stars taking part in the concert and ceremony included Christina Aguilera, Salma Hayek, Forrest Whitaker, Meg Ryan, Terrence Howard, Lucy Liu and Kate Beckinsale.

Cameron famously blew up at the “Easy Virtue” actress at the 2007 Golden Globe Awards after she spotted her flirting with the “SexyBack” star soon after they had split.

The 36-year-old star is now dating British model Paul Sculfor and is reportedly planning to fly out to the UK this month to spend Christmas with his family.

Deborah Smith Fired For Reporting Hilton Executive Sex Orgy

Deborah Smith, 43, was the night manager of the SkyWater Restaurant and Lounge, located in the Minneapolis Hilton Hotel. The operative word is ‘was’ because she is no longer employed by the Hilton chain.

Smith reported to her Human Resources department that she had walked in on and witnessed several members of Hilton’s upper management engaging in sex acts in a banquet room.

According to a lawsuit that Smith has filed against the hotel chain, she encountered several inebriated executives engaging in sex acts on top of a table. When she expressed her displeasure at witnessing the sexual encounter, Hilton Beverage Manager, James Vennewitz, told Smith that she would be fired and he would make sure of it.

The suit goes on to say that Smith was a victim of “undirected sexual harassment” and a “campaign of harassment and retaliation ensured.” The complaint contends that Hilton Human Resources Director Traci Schultz, upon hearing about the incident, did not take remedial action but in fact set Smith up for retaliatory termination.

Prior to her firing, Smith alleges that Hilton management’s conduct was hostile, oppressive, pervasive, abusive and intimidating. She claims to have suffered severe emotional, physical and economic damages.

Celebrities are just like us!

And just like us, they get stuck in holiday airport traffic, waiting around for hours while drinking at overpriced airport restaurants!

Spies at the Dallas airport caught a trio of Gossip Girl cast members - Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford, and Jessica Szohr - waiting for their flights this holiday weekend.

The stars were in Texas for Thanksgiving with Chace's family.

After Chace-Gayface-Crawford departed on an earlier flight, Ed and Jessica were caught smooching!!!!!

A spywitness says, it was "Not a French kiss, but a smooch definitely. They were being very flirty when people were not paying attention."

At least when they thought no one was paying attention!

Sounds like some juicy real-life gossip!

PUCKERING UP FOR KATSUYA

On the eve of her nephews birth, Jessica Simpson had a girls night out on Nov 17 at Katsuya in West Hollywood, dining with a few gal pals and enjoying some tasty sashimi. Showing off a painfully plumped up pucker and an ostentatiously large bag (if you like the oversized shape, try Antoinette Lees Stella Bag in Black), its a bit surprising to see Jess covering up her voluptuous assets with a navy double breasted blazer (nab the professional look with a wintery twist with Amberlynns Victoria Coat in Plum) as she made her way back to her car after din-din. The black leggings are getting a little cliche (do something slightly different with Laura Dahls scrunched Longfellows Leggings in Noir with stirrup legs), but I love her spider-webby heels and black pendant earrings (check out Robyn Rhodes classy Lani Earrings in Gold) -- adding just the right accents to an otherwise no-frills fit, well suited for Katsuyas minimalist decor. I just cant understand how she could eat sushi without accidentally chomping on those inflated lips! Like many things going on inside that head of hers, its a mystery to me. Jessica recently revealed more about what goes on up there in an interview dishing on getting over ex Nick Lachey, whom she split with almost six years ago. To deal with the pain, Jess turned to writing to help her cope: "It (writing in a diary) is very, very therapeutic. There is a lot about heartbreak, there is a lot about perseverance. I used it as inspiration for my album. I used certain journal excerpts from certain journal entries. It has been an awesome experience for me." So... Jessica Simpson not only keeps a diary, she used it to write some of the songs on her new album? Try to wrap your mind around that one......

We’ve all seen bad photoshop work. If we’re to believe the upcoming January issue of Vogue Nippon, they’re missing Desktop Publishers. The layout of their new cover is somewhat … unprofessional.

Daria’s face is covered by a big, black G. Literally! I hardly believe they thought we wouldn’t understand it’s Vogue if the G was behind Daria’s head. Maybe it’s just a case of bad layering from a desktop publisher who’s clearly not a Werbowy fan. Just when I was beginning to like Vogue Nippon, they’re losing that special something. Dont mess with Jessica Alba! Shopping with her daughter Honor Marie at the local grocery store on Nov 8 in New York, Jess looked like one tough mama in her black zippered motorcycle jacket (try Gold Hawks Ribbed Motorcycle Jacket in Black), grey skinnies (like Denim of Virtues Patience 5 Pocket Tapered Jean in Grey) and buckled black flat boots (get a similar look with Matikos folded flap C Boot in Black). Jess looked like she had a hard day on the set as she perused the nights eats, stopping to coo over her baby girl as she picked out her produce. Jessicas gams are looking pretty good these days, and she recently talked to People about her post-pregnancy lifestyle changes that helped her slim down: "I worked out -- not for hours, but I definitely had to work out. And I ate, not a lot of sweets and not a lot of cream. I kept a pretty simple organic diet, which I do now anyway." Seems simple enough for the rest of us to follow, no? Now that An Invisible Sign of My Own is almost finished filming, Jessica has already confirmed her next project, co-starring Casey Affleck. The two will work together in an on-screen adaptation of the book The Killer Inside Me, which was previously taken to the big screen in 1976. Wonder if Jess stayed true to her refusal to work unless Honor could be with her on-set, considering shes lined up her next project so quickly? My guess is that in these tough economic times, even actors cant be too picky with their work -- what do you think?...

She may be a mature 36 years old, but Cameron Diaz has such youthful skin she went make-up free to a studio meeting at Universal on Nov 19 in Los Angeles. Is it just me thinking she looks surprisingly fresh faced here? Clad in a few simple layers, Cam started with a white cami (try Ella Moss comfy Simone Cami in Vanilla) under a white Henley topped with a pale cropped cardigan (add a little color with Ecoganiks Thermal Henley Top in Merlot under a cozy throw-on like Autumn Cashmeres Draped Cardigan in Bisque), wearing the always popular black leggings (try Desert Blues denim styled The Phoenix Skinny Jean in Black) with slouchy grey boots. Walking back to her car carrying her favorite ivory Tods bag while sipping from her super-sized black thermos, Cam wore her hair swept back under a grey stretch headband with an ultra casual ponytail. Minus the boots Id think shed just come from the gym, not from a meeting with the head honchos! The simple bangle bracelet (add any interesting twist to any fit with CC Skyes Deco Soho Bracelet in White) adds a little style, but not enough to pull together this look. Nevertheless, it looks like Cams in good spirits, and I have a feeling it has to do with her continued romance with British model Paul Sculfor. From the outside it looks like theyre completely smitten with each other, unable to keep their hands off each other in public, but it seems Cam might not be quite over her ex Justin Timberlake just yet. Last week while attending CNNs All-Star Tribute event, Cam was mysteriously absent on the red carpet -- reportedly to avoid running into JTs current fling, Jessica Biel! A source at the event leaked that Cam snuck in through the backstage door to avoid any awkward run-ins, and the actresses onstage schedules were timed carefully to prevent a face-to-face encounter. Ladies, cant we all get along?...
