What's wrong with urban fashion is today?
Now itz all GAY! Skinny jeans and vans are not on the streets and they are gay! And everybody have to use both a north face jacket, shorts, Jordan, and sometimes gay men nike flip flops! WHAT IS GOING ON ?!?!?!? I know itz in style, and I really do not care because its not for tha HIP HOP or urban culture, itz just some homosexual tendencies. I still rock baggy actual mine. "You're" you should be 13 and in fashion. I hate white girls that I would never want to pull off that look gay! He does not look right on Negroes!
Cape shorts, leggings, sneakers hi top and sweaters for boys where I live. Its kind of a look early 90s. Its not gay.

Fashion $27.95 Following 150 years of fashion, Christopher Breward offers a catholic view of this colorful and flamboyant universe, describing its trends, products, and inhabitants. From Haute Couture, High Street, and developing fabric technology to such stars of fashion as Coco Chanel, and Giorgio Armani, Breward explores territories far beyond style and function. He sees more than just an industry, giving voice to the larger cultural phenomenon fashion has become. Breward’s discerning view captures the glamorous world of Vogue and advertising; the relationship between fashion and film, and fashion as a business; and it goes beyond the surface to consider individual interaction with fashion. How have ideas about hygiene and comfort influenced the direction of style? How does dress create identity and status? Framing details of dandies, flappers, and punks within a clear overview of their respective periods, Breward takes a second look and casts everyday wear in a much different light. In addition to glitz and glamour, the book has suggestions for further reading, a timeline of important events in fashion, and a list of relevant museums and galleries. |

Fruits $29.95 Fruits is a collection of Tokyo street fashion portraits from Japan’s premier street fanzine of the same name. ‘Fruits’ was established in 1994, by photographer Shoichi Aoki, initially as a project to document the growing explosion in street fashion within the suburbs of Tokyo. Over the last five years, the magazine has grown to cult status and is now avidly followed by thousands of Japanese teenagers who also use the magazine as an opportunity to check out the latest styles and trends. The average age of the kids featured in the magazine is between 12 and 18, and the clothes that they wear are a mixture of high fashion — Vivienne Westwood is a keen favourite — and home-made ensembles which when combined create a novel, if not hysterical, effect. This extensive collection of portraits represents a unique documentation of the changing face of street fashion throughout the last decade. Colourful, fascinating and funny, this is the first time these cult images have been published outside Japan. Fruits will delight followers of fashion and youth culture. |
